After 6 months of experimentation, the PowerKeys Publishing website is finally operating as I had originally hoped.  People are able to find what they want, are able to understand the benefits of the various packages I have to offer, and can log in to download the material without much effort.  We have a few member discussions going on in the private members area, although not as many as I had expected.

You may notice in my profile that I have 2 websites and while they are intended to provide me with an income, they are also my heart and soul. I believe that we are on the verge of a great Evolution of Consciousness and as Alan says: Empowering the world, one individual at a time. The more people that I can reach with the message of self fulfillment, the closer we come to changing the consciousness world-wide. I have 2 grandchildren and I want them to grow up in a better place than the world that I grew up in. I have seen the face of war firsthand (Vietnam 66 and 67).

Anyone who serves the world by sharing information knows that the more people you can reach, the greater the impact you can have on the world.  In many respects, this is achieved using the same processes that normal businesses use to increase their profitability.

This past weekend, I went to the Great Lakes Unity Music Conference in Springfield, IL with my wife, Linda.  I had expected to just tag along and do some work in the hotel while she was at the conference, and then spend a day or two on a mini-vacation for my birthday.  I should have known better.

Over the past few days, I've been quietly inviting past customers in to check out the new website over at www.PowerKeysPub.com, and today I finally opened the site to the world.

So far, we have more than 125 members, and there are still emails on the server waiting to be delivered.

For those following along with the conversion process on the PowerKeys Publishing website, this may not be too big of a surprise.  After all the various things I've had to fix, modify, and tweak to get working, I ran into one problem that I just couldn't solve.

Unfortunatly, it was the last problem standing in my way of reopening the new website.

All through this process, I've held aMemberPro as my backup option, knowing that it works well, and although it may not have some of the 'hot' marketing features of BFM, it is a solid system needing no fixes.

I thought I would post my progress on the PowerKeys Publishing site conversion.  The process involves several things, including several new pages to write, a re-organization of the physical files on the server (both product files and programming code files), and a few other things.

So far, I've been writing new pages as I wait for Mike Filsaime's office to clean up their mess from the sales event and give me access to the Butterfly Marketing (BFM) software.  They have assured me that this would only take a few days, although I'm starting to wonder.

I just closed down the PowerKeys Publishing website to start preparing for the conversion to the Butterfly Marketing (BFM) system.  Anyone who goes to the site now will see a page announcing the change and offering to let you sign up for the announcement list so you can be one of the first to see the new site when it goes live. 

The page also describes (briefly) the 4 packages that will be available on the new website, with the prices of each package. 

One of the first steps in creating any informational product is putting together an extensive outline of the material to be covered.  After spending the last several weeks reviewing my old notes and other materials, I finally sat down today to create the outline for the upcoming "Spiritual Business Kit."

Now that I've decided to take my business in a new direction, the next step is to make plans about the specifics of how it will work.

Here's what I'm thinking right now.

First, I'll close the site for a week or two to sort things out.  During that time, the website will be unavailable, except for a notice on the home page about the changes taking place.

Next, I'll move the shopping cart system to a side area of the website.  It will still be available, but not readily accessible.
