Power and Getting Things Done
Power. It can be quite an evocative word.
For some, it means the ability to make things happen, like reaching your goals, enjoying life, and living a long and healthy life.
For others, it reminds them of political figures and others in authority who abuse their position and do harm to those under their leadership.
It’s pretty obvious I fall into the first group, and I feel that those in the second group can relieve themselves of the fear as they get comfortable with their own Power.
Earlier this week, I was chatting with a young woman who was working on several different projects and having a hard time making progress on any one of them.
I happen to be helping her put together a website, and needed her to give me at least a rough overview of the things she wants the website to communicate to her audience.
While I wouldn’t classify her as one who is fearful of power, she obviously needed to get reacquainted with her own inner power before she could feel comfortable taking positive action.
Before the end of our meeting, I gave her a very brief overview of the Symbolic Solutions process I’ve been sharing with you.
Relax. Imagine. And trust.
Relax to the point where the outside world doesn’t distract you from your focus, and you can make a strong connection with your deeper mind.
Imagine what you want. In her case, it was a feeling of power and confidence. A feeling of power that was so strong, it carried her forward through her projects with ease and comfort.
And trust the process. Know that you’ve set forces in motion that will manifest into your experience without you having to do much else, except follow the urges that come from within.
The more time you spend sitting with the idea of power, the more comfortable you become with it, and the easier it becomes to express your power through everything else you do.
The other main suggestion I gave her was to simply focus on one thing at a time, and do what you can without worrying about being perfect.
As the old saying goes,
It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It just has to be done.
(Sounds like something I need to remind myself of more often.)
If you only have an hour to work on something, do the best you can in that hour. It may not be exactly what you want in the end, but at least it’s something.
When you get more time, do more, and you’ll have a better result.
Inch it forward, one step at time, and you can accomplish anything.
It’s amazing what your deeper mind can help you accomplish when you give it the right guidance and trust it to do it’s job.
If you find yourself needing more help from your deeper mind to accomplish the things you want to do, my Symbolic Solutions 2.0 package can help.
In just 6 hypnosis sessions, you can master the skills required to connect with your deeper mind, give it a clear picture of what you want, trust that it will follow through on your instructions, and everything else you need to get things done.
There’s a session specifically designed to help you activate your own inner power and direct it for true accomplishment of all your goals.
