Your Secret Advantage
There’s a quote by a famous hockey player that illustrates why self-esteem is the first step in attaining any goal you may have.
“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
There was also an advertising campaign for one of the lotteries that focused on the phrase ….
“You can’t win if you don’t play.”
The reason many folks don’t go after the things they want is because they really don’t believe they can actually have them.
I speak a lot about the power of belief, and while there is a “Law of Attraction” component to it, there’s also this solid, physical-level aspect. Before you can confidently attain your goals, you must first believe that you deserve them.
This is why my EmBRACES Belief Entrainment System focuses on self-esteem before anything else, such as confidence, motivation, productivity, self-mastery, relationships, or prosperity.
It’s also why I’m working to create a new meditation that will be given away for free.
I know, you can probably list a hundred reasons why you’re not as good as everyone else. Here’s a secret.
If you dig into the past of many high achievers, you could probably find many of the same reasons.
Oprah Winfrey was fired from a reporting job. Supposedly, the reason was because she wasn’t fit to be on television.
Albert Einstein didn’t speak until he was 4, and didn’t read until he was 7. His teachers labeled him “slow” and “mentally handicapped.”
Walt Disney was fired by a newspaper editor because he “lacked imagination and had no good ideas.” He also applied to over 300 banks to get the financing for Disney World because the first 300 thought it would fail.
Most folks know that Thomas Edison had several thousand “failures” when trying to create the light bulb. In his early years, teachers told Edison he was “too stupid to learn anything,” and he was fired from his first two jobs for being lazy.
Steven King’s first book, “Carrie,” was rejected by 30 publishers before someone finally saw the potential in this “new, untried” author.
Sometimes, it’s tough to get started. I know this isn’t what you want to hear. You’d rather I reveal the secret to attaining instant success without any hard work.
Guess what? I’ve been doing exactly that.
Relax, go within, and consult with your deeper mind, which knows how to bypass the obstacles and get you to success in the most direct way possible.
You already have an advantage that Oprah, Steven King, Walt Disney, Edison, and all the others didn’t have. There’s no reason you can’t do a lot better than they did.
You just have to believe in yourself.
