Eliminating the Blocks to Manifesting
Whenever you work on manifesting something big, something you’ve never done before, you’re bound to run into obstacles hindering your progress.
In some cases, it’s nothing more than the regular, run-of-the-mill obstacles we all encounter from time to time.
In most cases, though, they are the result of previous beliefs creating circumstances to maintain the status quo.
For instance, you set aside a whole day to work on a new business venture, but end up spending most of that day watching YouTube videos to get motivated.
Or maybe you get all dressed up to ask that cute girl out on a date, and then notice a giant cold sore developing, and decide to wait until later.
Or perhaps you’ve got yourself all together, but get a call from a friend who needs your advice on a deeply personal matter, and the next thing you know, you’re out of time for your own projects.
Maybe you feel an internal block which causes you to fall asleep whenever you relax deeply to meditate on manifesting your desires.
Once in a while may be expected, but when it happens to you over and over again, you’ve got to stop and ask yourself what’s happening.
It’s almost like Life is testing you to find out if you REALLY want what you’re going after.
Most folks usually fold under the pressure and give up on their dreams.
Those with more willpower — or a stronger belief in their eventual success — keep going until they experience the joy of a well-earned victory.
But what if you don’t feel you have the willpower or the belief to keep dealing with the obstacles?
Some of my long-time readers may recall a story I’ve used a few times illustrating the power of belief, and the wise use of momentum.
I was back in high school, and I had decided that I wanted to increase the amount of weight I was able to bench-press.
I also wanted to test a theory, so I set up a program where I would go into the gym each day after lunch, and I would make a single attempt at lifting a particular weight.
At the time, I was able to lift about 150 pounds, so in order to get the power of belief on my side, I started the experiment by lifting only 130 lbs.
Easy.
The next day, I added 2.5 pounds and again easily lifted the 132.5 lb weight.
For 8 days, I would go into the gym and lift a weight I knew I could lift.
I had developed a small amount of momentum of belief, so when I went in to lift 152.5, it was relatively easy to believe I could lift that too.
And I did.
And the next day, I lifted the 155 lb weight.
For the next few weeks, I continued lifting heavier and heavier weights.
Each one just a tiny bit more than the day before.
Sure, there were a few times when I failed to lift that day’s weight, but I always got it the next day.
By the time the school year ended, I had lifted the full stack of 220 lbs, which was my goal.
So, what does this have to do with eliminating blocks to manifesting?
The blocks are the weight you’re trying to lift.
Don’t worry about going for the “full stack” on your first day.
Start with something you KNOW you can do, and do it.
Then go after something just a little more difficult, and do that.
Continue going after the “little things” until you have the confidence to tackle the bigger ones.
That confidence will help you do more than you could do any other way.
Let’s look at the examples I used earlier.
If you have a block which causes you to waste time when you should be working, start by “willing” yourself to hold off on the time-wasting activity for just 15 minutes.
If your block is that you fall asleep when you relax into a manifestation meditation, set a timer for 5 minutes before you start.
If you’re still awake after 5 minutes, set the timer for 6 minutes the next time, then 7.
Keep extending the time until you can meditate for as long as you want without falling asleep.
If you get sidetracked easily, as when a friend calls for help, or when things go wrong, practice pushing through a little a time.
For example, when that friend calls to chat when you have plans, ask them if you can call them back in an hour.
Usually, they’ll have no problem waiting.
Or if you notice a cold sore as you’re heading out to ask that guy or girl out on a date, try calling them instead.
Just don’t let it completely derail your plans.
With practice, you’ll be able to find all kinds of ways to accomplish your goal even if your original plan doesn’t work out.
And then if all else fails, go into a meditation with the express intention to clear the blocks.
Maybe there’s a belief pattern lodge deep within your subconscious which needs to be cleared out.
Here are the steps:
- Relax as completely as you can. You know the drill — go into a hypnotic state if you can.
- Set an intention that all blocks will now be eliminated, and your path will continue to be clear as you move forward towards your desires.
- Imagine that you’re talking to the Divine Mind within, that part of you which knows all, and ask how you can clear away the block so you can reach your goal and experience manifestation success.
- Do whatever your inner wisdom tells you. (!!!)
- And perhaps most importantly —TRUST THE PROCESS!
This is the core essence of my Symbolic Solutions 2.0 program.
