Yes You Can, and Here’s Why
Have you read any of Dr. Robert Anthony’s material?
I’m reading through his book, “The Ultimate Secrets of Total Self Confidence“, and I have to say, it’s incredible how much we agree on things.
One phrase that really stand out is this one:
“The average person never comes near reaching his unlimited potential because he is living under the false assumption that he already knows the truth.”
I’ve been making this same point ever since the beginning. In fact, the very first lesson of the original Keys To Power – Step by Step course was based on it.
See the world for what it is, not for what you think it is, or what you believe it should be.
If you need to earn more money, or you’d like to have better relationships, or whatever it is you want to accomplish with your life, look around and see how others are doing it.
Then just model what they do.
Pattern your life on what actually works, not just on what you feel like doing.
There’s an old saying in the personal development world.
You can have results, or you can have excuses. You can’t have both.
In metaphysics, we say that life is a mirror, and if you want things to change, you have to start by changing yourself.
A few weeks ago, I asked all my subscribers what they felt they needed help with, and the responses that came back were focused on 2 main areas.
Money and relationships.
You know what both of these have in common?
They both depend on you taking action.
No one can sit at home alone on their couch and expect to get rich or find the perfect romantic partner.
When I manifested the relationship I now have with my wife, Linda, I started out by sitting on a couch and visualizing exactly what I wanted.
But I didn’t stop there.
I followed my intuition and pulled out the yellow pages, found a church that offered meditation services, started going to that church, and put myself into a situation where I could meet new people.
Your intuition will probably direct you to do something different, but whatever it tells you to do, do it, or you’ll miss out on the manifestation of your desires.
It won’t always be comfortable.
You won’t always know how it’s going to work out.
But you’ve got to do it anyways.
Now, let’s go back to that quote from Dr. Robert Anthony.
“The average person never comes near reaching his unlimited potential because he is living under the false assumption that he already knows the truth.”
Two points you really need to notice here.
- Unlimited potential
- False Assumption
You can accomplish anything you set out to do.
Yes, a short person can be a professional basketball player.
Yes, an unattractive person can be a professional model.
Yes, a writer can become a billionaire.
If you don’t believe me, look these up:
- Muggsy Bogues
- character actor
- J.K. Rowling
Whatever you want to accomplish in life, start out by assuming that you CAN do it, then look to the experts to find out HOW.
It all starts by believing that it’s possible.
As soon as you BELIEVE you can do it, you can.
You just have to CHOOSE to Believe.
