Planning the new PowerKeys Publishing website
Now that I've decided to take my business in a new direction, the next step is to make plans about the specifics of how it will work.
Here's what I'm thinking right now.
First, I'll close the site for a week or two to sort things out. During that time, the website will be unavailable, except for a notice on the home page about the changes taking place.
Next, I'll move the shopping cart system to a side area of the website. It will still be available, but not readily accessible.
The main part of the site will be rebuilt as a membership site. There will most likely be 4 membership options available. Obviously, I'll have to write some new webpages to describe the available options.
Option 1: This will be a free option, to offer those items which are currently available for free, including the teleseminars, the SEEWC ebook collection, the Effortless Power mini-course, and a few other things.
Option 2: This level will add the Choose To Believe material, including an ebook edition of the book and the Audio Workshop recordings. This package, a $100+ value, will be offered for $49.
Option 3: This level will add the KTP Mastery System to the collection of free stuff & the Choose To Believe materials. This option, a true $200+ value, will now be priced at $97.
Option 4: The final level will add the brainwave entrainment audios, including the unreleased Belief Entrainment program for Success & Happiness. Members of this level will also be eligible to test new products before they're released. This option, a $600+ value, will be priced at $197.
By offering packages, and not individual products, I think it will be easier to decide which option you want. Some degree of choice is taken away with this structure, but the lower prices should compensate for that.
There's another great benefit to the new structure. With the membership software that's now available, I can set it up so that everyone who has a membership account is automatically given an affiliate account, and can earn money by referring others to the site.
Because the new system will give affiliate accounts to all members, I'll probably have to include some guidelines about how to use the various affiliate tools that will be available, and whether they should even try. Things like banners should only be used by people who have their own website, and things like promotional articles would need to be posted to a website or included in a PDF ebook, which few members will really understand how to do.
Maybe I'll look for a good affiliate guide that I can purchase resale rights to and include that in the membership area.
Let me know what you think about the plans so far. Click the "Add new comment" link below and share your thoughts, okay? Thanks.
